Bashir El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has surprised many by publicly expressing his admiration for Peter Obi.
After being critical of Obi in the past, Bashir shared a photo of Obi and his father on X, at the coalition meeting, praising Obi's growth.
Bashir wrote "He don dey mature" in excitement, indicating a shift in his opinion about Obi.
When asked by an X user if he would stop speaking ill of Obi, Bashir confirmed that he now loves Peter Obi and even chanted the Northern political slogan with Obi's name, "Sai Peter Obi".
Bashir defended his change of heart, stating that other influencers have changed their positions, and he has the right to do so as well.
