The former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir Elrufai visited the grave of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
They were pictured with other dignitaries on Wednesday morning, saying the Fidau prayers at the grave site of the Ex-President, who was laid to rest at his Daura residence, on Tuesday, July 15.
The third-day Fidau Prayer is happening this morning in Daura, Katsina State.
The prayer is a time for friends and relations to gather and pray for the forgiveness of the deceased’s sins, and to seek blessings for the afterlife.
The gathering will feature recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers, and sometimes charitable acts performed on behalf of the deceased.
