Nigerians are in stitches after Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, promised to increase the wages of his official music band.
The announcement was made during the commissioning of a collector road in the Katampe area of the FCT.
The lead singer of the band impressed Wike with an impromptu song in Chinese during the event.
Wike was so pleased with the performance that he publicly declared the band members' wages would be increased.
The news has sparked widespread amusement and entertainment among Nigerians.
