A family of five from Rajasthan's Banswara, including a software professional, Pratik Joshi, his wife, Komi Vyas, and their three children, died in the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.
The family was traveling to the UK to start a new life together after Pratik had worked there for nine years.
In a poignant moment, the family took a selfie and sent it to relatives just before the flight.
Tragically, they perished in the crash, which occurred shortly after takeoff. Komi Vyas had resigned from her job just two days prior to join her husband in the UK.
News of their death shocked Banswara, leaving friends, relatives, and former colleagues in disbelief.
"The whole town is in mourning," News 18 quoted a close family friend as saying, describing them as a kind.
