Speaking on a podcast "Tea With Tay", Faith revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer about five years ago and it was a life-altering moment that forced her to reflect on her purpose and the legacy she wants to leave for her son.
"I just wanted to spend as much time as I wish I had with my Kid," she explained. "And when it changed for me was about 4-5 years ago when I went to the doctor and he told me that I have cancer."
At that time, Faith said she quietly withdrew from the limelight to lead a slower and relaxing life on a ranch. She said the diagnosis was a wake up call.
"Most People didn't know about that. I remember just looking at the doctor and all i could think about was what will people tell my child about me?'
She added that she then made a personal vow to God that if she survived, she would never "play small" again.
"I told God that if I go through this and come out alive, I would never play small."
Since then, the mother of one has returned to the spotlight with a renewed purpose, continuing to grow her modeling and fashion career while inspiring others through her story of resilience and strength.
