The Benue State capital, Makurdi, was unusually quiet this morning as residents await the arrival of President Bola Tinubu.
The visit comes amid heightened tensions, just days after a deadly attack in a local community, which was allegedly carried out by suspected herdsmen.
Residents are anxiously waiting to see if the President's visit will bring solutions to the security challenges plaguing the region.
