Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder of the House on the Rock Church, is currently being interrogated by the Lagos State Police Command over a viral video that shows him holding an object resembling a gun while driving an unregistered vehicle.
The police confirmed that Adefarasin voluntarily surrendered and is cooperating with the investigation.
The video, which sparked widespread debate and concern, appears to show Adefarasin engaging in a heated confrontation with another road user while driving.
The pastor has denied brandishing a firearm, stating that the object was not a gun and he did not point it at anyone.
Hundeyin mentioned that the outcome of the investigation will be made public.
