A video of youths in Kano State destroying President Bola Tinubu's 2027 campaign billboard has gone viral on social media.
The incident occurred during a welcome ceremony for Governor Abba Yusuf, who had just returned from the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
The youths, reportedly supporters of the Kwankwassiya movement, pulled down and destroyed the billboard, sparking discussions about growing political dissatisfaction among young Nigerians.
Some speculate that the destruction of the billboard may be linked to frustrations with the current state of governance and economic conditions in Nigeria.
