A petrol tanker carrying 45,000 liters of fuel exploded after crashing on the Iseyin/Oyo Road in Oyo State, Nigeria, on Monday.
The incident occurred near the NICO Farm axis, causing panic and gridlock as onlookers gathered and others fled the scene. Fortunately, emergency responders quickly intervened, preventing a major catastrophe.

Firefighters applied chemical foam to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures or vehicles. The fire was extinguished, and normal traffic movement was restored
According to the Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Maroof Akinwande, the prompt response of the fire service prevented a potentially disastrous situation.
