Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah, has pledged to collaborate with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
This alliance aims to strengthen support for Tinubu's agenda in Abia State and the Southeast region.
The collaboration between Ogah and Kalu is seen as a strategic move to boost support for Tinubu's re-election bid.
Ogah praised Kalu for his legislative achievements, particularly in sponsoring the bill that established the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
Ogah expressed his commitment to working with Kalu to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) in Abia State.
"We will do everything within our capacity... to see that Renewed Hope Partners is a success."
"When the two of us are united with everyone here, we all have a part to play; I can tell you the president should go and sleep."
"We will put in everything we have, including our resources. It's a teamwork."
