Meta allegedly used 243 Eminem tracks in millions of videos that garnered billions of views.
Eight Mile Style claims Meta's actions constitute ongoing copyright violations.
Despite previous negotiations, Meta reportedly did not obtain the necessary rights to use Eminem's music.
Eight Mile Style is seeking at least $109 million in damages.The company is requesting $150,000 per song, per platform.
Meta claims to have "extensive" licensing agreements with thousands of partners globally.
Meta stated it was negotiating in good faith with Eight Mile Style before the lawsuit.
Eight Mile Style had previously sued Facebook over unauthorized use of Eminem's music.
