Elon Musk Warns of Population Collapse, Urges Families to Have at Least Three Children

Billionaire tech mogul, Elon Musk is sounding the alarm on declining global birth rates, warning that a "population collapse" could threaten humanity's future.

In a recent social media post, Musk advised parents to aim for at least three children to balance out the global birth rate, citing the potential consequences of inaction.

Musk believes a fertility rate of 2.7 children per woman is necessary to maintain population stability, accounting for factors like childlessness and uneven gender distribution. He argues that low birth rates played a significant role in the fall of ancient civilizations, such as Rome, and could have similar consequences today.

Citing data from various countries, Musk points to declining fertility rates as a pressing concern. For instance:

- United States: 1.66 children per woman

-Italy: 1.29 children per woman

- Japan: 1.30 children per woman

While Musk's warnings have sparked debate, some experts argue that his projections exaggerate the situation. According to the United Nations, the world population is projected to peak at around 10.4 billion by 2100, far from the collapse Musk envisions.

Critics also suggest that adapting to changing population dynamics might be a more effective approach than trying to boost birth rates.

This isn't the first time Musk has expressed concerns about population decline. He has previously warned that a "population collapse" could be a more significant risk to civilization than climate change, and has advocated for a pronatalist approach to ensure sustainable population growth rates.

  1. Low birth rate is because of central banking. It couldn't be more obvious. But this "genius" can't understand that
