The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has called on Nigerians to allow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to complete two terms as President of Nigeria.
Speaking at the Eid el Kabir celebration in Iwo, Osun State, Oluwo likened Tinubu's reforms to the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim, which is commemorated during the Eid el Kabir celebration.
Oluwo praised Tinubu's courageous leadership, noting that he has confronted challenges head-on and made difficult decisions to rescue the nation.
The monarch specifically highlighted the removal of fuel subsidy as a monumental decision that previous presidents had avoided.
Speaking further, he urged Nigerians to support Tinubu's second term, stressing that the president's reforms are yielding positive results, including improved workers' wages and decreasing food prices.
Oluwo described Tinubu as a competent leader who respects the path of Nigeria's greatness and is committed to the path of honor.
He urged Nigerians to see beyond their immediate challenges and support Tinubu's administration, promoting reality, progress, growth, and development.
