Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers admitted that it hurts not to be considered for competitive games by Nigeria.
The 30-year-old has impressed for Nigeria but all his seven appearances have been in friendly games.
Dessers recorded one goal and an assist in two appearances for the Super Eagles at the recent Unity Cup invitational tournament in London.
The striker has scored four goals in seven outings for the three-time African champions.

Dessers confessed it has been a disappointing experience for him. “It hurts sometimes. It feels disappointing,” Dessers said via ModZero Sports.
“I’ve been in and around the squad for five years now, and I haven’t played an official game yet – just friendlies. I am going to say that hurts.”
