Odira Nwobu, the Nollywood actor and content creator, has been involved in a car accident.
A now-viral video from the accident scene shows bystanders
frantically pulling victims from the wreckage.
Nwobu’s vehicle was severely mangled, with both the front
and side sections completely smashed beyond recognition.
The actor was seen conscious but visibly disoriented,
sitting by the roadside covered in blood as passersby rushed to assist him.
It was gathered that the car accident occurred on Wednesday
along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Reports indicate that the accident claimed multiple lives,
while Nwobu and other survivors were quickly transported to a nearby hospital
for emergency treatment.

Odira began acting shortly after completing his secondary
school education, but gained prominence for his role in ‘Joseph The Dreamer’.
The role earned him a nomination in the Best Comic Actor
category at the African Movie Academy Awards.
He has featured in several movies, including ‘Home Alone’,
‘Class Mugu’, ‘Village Rats’, ‘Goat Lover’, ‘Wayward Father’, ‘Ikpo’, ‘Village
Priest’, and ‘Family Saga’.
The actor and Gifty tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their first child together — a daughter— in 2023.
