Suspended Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, has said he
knows the solution to his problems.
Fubara made the remark while cautioning his supporters
against acts that are inimical to his peace process.
The embattled Governor said some actions of his supporters
are causing him problems.
He spoke during the service of song in honour of the late
elder States man, Edwin Clark in Port Harcourt, the state Capital on Sunday.
According to Fubara: “Don’t do things because you want to
them; do the things I want. I’m the one wearing the shoes; I know the solution
to my problem. I know how to walk through my problem.
“There are things you do that, rather than bringing peace to
me, is poised my peace process and cause me problems.”
Earlier, Fubara had said he was not keen to return to his
position as governor because “his spirit” had already left.
President Bola Tinubu has suspended Fubara, his deputy, and
all members of the state House of Assembly for six months due to the political
crisis in the state.
Tinubu also declared a state of emergency in Rivers State
while appointing a Sole Administrator within the six months period.
