Veteran journalist and publisher Dele Momodu has faulted the
British Broadcasting Corporation, BCC, documentary exposing the alleged secret
lifestyle of the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN,
Temitope Balogun Joshua.
Momodu said it’s unfortunate that TB Joshua can’t defend
himself against the mirage of allegations leveled against him by some people
close to him during his lifetime.
Posting on X, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain
wrote: “FREE ADVERT… Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua in his lifetime suffered
loads of attacks. And even in his death, he continues to generate
controversies. Unfortunately, he’s not here to defend himself.”
Recall that BBC had accused him of several atrocities, including r@pe and torture.
According to the documentary released by the BBC on Monday,
no fewer than 25 eyewitnesses accused T.B Joshua of sexual assault, physical
abuse, fabricated miracles, and trauma.
The investigative report spanning over two years said five
Britons accused TB Joshua of rape and forced abortions in a secretive Lagos
compound spanning almost 20 years.
Also, the late televangelist was accused of faking his “miracle
healings,” which were broadcast to millions of people around the world.
