Barcelona Femeni pulled off a brilliant comeback to defeat
Wolfsburg 3-2 in the 2022/2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League final.
The thrilling encounter took place on Saturday at the
Philips Stadium in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Wolfsburg led 2-0 at the break, thanks to goals from Ewa
Pajor and Alexandra Popp.
Patri Guijarro’s two-minute brace, however, pulled Barcelona level after which Fridolina Rolfo got the winner for the Spanish giants.

With the victory, Barcelona claimed their second UCL title —
following up on their first triumph in 2021.
However, Asisat Oshoala, the Nigerian striker, didn’t
participate in the UCL final due to a hamstring she picked up during the
semi-final.
The reigning African Women’s Footballer of the Year was part
of the side that won the trophy in 2021.
They, however, lost last year’s final to Lyon.
