Aircom Nigeria MD Receives Prestigious NIESV Award for Real Estate Industry Contributions

 


Recently, the President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), ESV Johnbull Osarumen Amayaevbo, presented Mr. Yemi Idowu, the Managing Director of Aircom Nigeria Limited, with an Award of Recognition for his remarkable contributions to the Real Estate Industry, Housing Development, and the National Economy.

 

Due to his inability to attend the NIESV Merit Award event in Abuja, the presentation took place at Mr. Idowu's residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. During the presentation, the President also conveyed a letter of appreciation from the Council to Mr. Idowu for his generous donation towards the success of the Merit Award.

 

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Idowu thanked the Institution for deeming him worthy of the award and commended the President for personally traveling to Lagos to make the presentation. He emphasized the leading role that the Institution plays in the built industry and the nation's economic development. Mr. Idowu emphasized the need to leverage data and technology to drive real estate business and transactions, with Estate Surveyors and Valuers taking a more influential role in the industry. He highlighted the importance of transformation, renewal, recreation, and regeneration of the landscape, stating that there are vast untapped potentials and opportunities.

 

In response, the President expressed the Institution's willingness to foster cooperation and collaboration, emphasizing that it is the way forward. Inviting Mr. Idowu to the National Conference scheduled later in the month in Ilorin, the President encouraged continued engagement and participation.

 

The President was accompanied by ESV Toyin Aluko, FNIVS, the Head of the NIESV Publicity Sub-Committee, ESV Mutiu Balogun, FNIVS, a member of the Council, ESV Gbenga Ismail, FNIVS, Chairman of the Lagos State Branch, ESV Sholakunmi Bolarinde, Honorary Secretary of the Branch, ESV Abidemi Ojo, ANIVS, the Publicity Secretary, and ESV Lojede Olaseni, ANIVS, the Honorary Assistant Secretary.

 

Expressing their appreciation, the President, on behalf of the entire team, thanked Mr. Idowu for the warm reception extended to them during the visit.
