Binani vs Fintiri: Why Adamawa guber situation is lose-lose for APC candidate – El-Rufai’s son

Bashir, son of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, on Tuesday described the electoral saga in Adamawa State as a “lose-lose situation” for Aisha Binani of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

 

Bashir said the situation in Adamawa State is not good for Binani whether she wins or loses the governorship election.

 

He pointed out that Binani’s victory would be perceived as a stolen mandate if declared the winner of the election.

 

In a Tweet, Bashir also noted that Nigerians wouldn’t forgive her for attempting to usurp an election.

 

He wrote: “It is a bad situation whether she wins or loses. If she wins, it would be perceived as a stolen mandate whether or not she actually won.

 

“If she loses, the attempt to usurp an election in connivance with the REC is not a reality many will forgive or forget. Lose-lose situation.”
