PHOTOS: Sanwo-Olu visits train accident victims at LASUTH

 

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, has visited staff of the state government injured in the train accident which occurred Thursday morning.

 

Some of the victims of the accident are receiving medical care at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH)

 

The accident took place between the Shogunle and Ikeja axis when the Lagos staff bus veered into the rail track and was crushed by an oncoming train.

 

“I am deeply saddened by the news of the accident. The vehicle was conveying staff of the Lagos state government, our staff who serve the state in different capacities,” the governor said.

 

 “Let’s say a prayer for the families and a prayer of mercy and protection for our state. My thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.”

 

Persons involved in the accident are being treated at various hospitals across the state.
