Presidential election between Atiku, Tinubu; Peter Obi, Kwankwaso can’t win – Adeyanju

Two days before the presidential election, candidates of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, and New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have been ruled out of winning Saturday’s contest.

Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, said Saturday’s election is between the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate Bola Tinubu.

Speaking, Adeyanju said Obi and Kwankwaso lack the structure to emerge as president.

He, however, noted that Tinubu might win the presidential election.

According to him: “Kwankwaso and Obi are not in the race because they don’t have the pass to electoral victory; they don’t have what it takes to emerge as president.

“They don’t have structures that can stand to defend their votes on election day. On the other hand, Atiku is like an old horse; he’s very grounded, PDP has a massive structure over the country. There is no political zone in the country; they will not do well.

“You can never write off the incumbent, my political bet, though he is one of the most unfortunate thing to happen to Nigeria; my bet is that the APC winning the presidential election. However, the PDP and APC have the chance of winning.”
