‘Ironically, it’s our 20th anniversary’ — Kazim Adeoti’s first wife laments amid marital crisis

 

Funsho Adeoti, the first wife of Kazim Adeoti, has lamented that she was unable to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband.

Funsho took to her Instagram story on Wednesday to share a video of herself and Kazim during a photo session.

 

The mother of four also appreciated God for life while assuring that everything will be fine.

 

“Wow ironically today is our 20th wedding anniversary..but it is well and I thank GOD 4 LIFE,” she wrote.

 

The post comes at about the same time when Kazim and Mercy Aigbe, the actress, visited Maldives Island for vacation.

 

Funsho and Kazim’s marriage has been surrounded by different controversies after the filmmaker took Mercy as his second wife.

 

In January 2022, Mercy unveiled Kazim as her husband.

 

Speaking on his second marriage, Kazim said as a Muslim, he is entitled to marry a second wife.

 

“It is understandable that my first wife is unhappy about getting a second wife but she gave me no choice when she relocated permanently to the US,” he had said.

 

“I’m a Muslim and Islam permits me to marry more than one wife as long as I take care of them and I don’t maltreat them. I can stand before God and man that as a man, I have done my best not to maltreat them.”

 

The filmmaker’s comment did not, however, go down well with Funsho. She also issued a stern warning to the pair.
