Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has won the presidential election in Lagos state. He defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) standard bearer.
This was based on the collation of results at the Independent National Electoral Commission Lagos State collation centre in Yaba.
Obi won nine local government areas of the state.
The LGAs are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho
Tinubu triumphed in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere.

APC: 572, 606
LP: 582, 354 (Winner)
NNPP: 8442
PDP: 75 750
SDP: 772
Accredited voters: 1,347152
Total Valid votes: 1271451
Rejected votes: 64278
Total votes cast: 1,335729

ReplyDeleteThis result has been tampred with. Obi on a good day(For this election ) would gap Tinubu. So many people were disenfranchised esp the Igbo's and the youths in Lagos.
