U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles boss, Bosso set to decamp underperforming players

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso will soon wield the big stick on players, who have put up below-par showing in the team’s training.

The team resume camping for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Abuja on Monday.

35 players are currently jostling for a place in the team.

The invited foreign-based professionals are expected to link up with their teammates in camp next week.

It was reliably gathered that some of the players have failed to impress the technical crew and will be asked to leave camp soon.

Bosso is expected to submit his final 21-man list for the competition by January 20.

The team will embark on a training tour of Morocco at the end of this month.

The Flying Eagles will face hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal in Group A at the 2023 U-20 AFCON.
