Alexx Ekubo convinced me to apologise in public and I fell for it— Estranged fiancee, Fancy Acholonu

 

Fancy Acholonu, the former fiancée to Alexx Ekubo, has opened up on the circumstances surrounding her apology to the actor.

 

Last Thursday, Acholonu apologised to the film star for calling off their wedding plans in 2021.

 

The entrepreneur had in her apology said she “overreacted” at the time, adding that she still loves the actor.

 

Ekubo, in his reaction to her apology, wrote: “@fancyacholonu I appreciate the apology, may God bless us all”.

 

The pair’s sour relationship has continued to stir reactions on social media, with many of their fans registering their opinions.

 

On Monday, Achonolu addressed their controversial split in the comment section of her post.

 

One of her curious fans had remarked: “Did Alexx convince you to make that apology post? I saw something on the blogs. If he did, Sis that is extremely manipulative you should run for your life he only wanted to use for revenge”.

 

In her response, the brand influencer disclosed that Ekubo asked her to put out her recent apology.

 

“@douglaspeace_ra yes he did. It’s true. I fell for it. My eyes are now fully open. I’m at peace & now have full understanding,” she replied.

 

Another user further asked: “Were you begging Alex to take you back? U too beautiful for that sis”

 

Reacting, Achonolu wrote: “No, I was not”.
