The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has shown his romantic side as he sends a loving message to his wife, Margaret, as she turned a year older.
The businessman and politician who served as the governor of Anambra State, in a post via his Instagram page eulogized his wife describing her as ‘the perfect mother to their beloved children’.
He wrote, “To my dearest wife and the perfect mother to our beloved children, words alone cannot express how far I have come by your support, love and affection. Each moment shared with you renews my strength, brightens my ideas and sharpens my vision.
“As you celebrate your birthday today, I remain eternally grateful to God for the gift of you in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in productivity and progress. May God continue to protect and bless you as we journey each day together. Happy Birthday to My One and Only Wife.” (sic)
The former governor, born on July 19, 1961, walked down the aisle with his sweetheart, Margaret Brownson Obi (née Usen) in 1992. Their union is blessed with two children — Oseloka and Gabriella.
