Banditry: Zamfara Hisbah, NSCDC renew partnership

The Zamfara State Hisbah Commission has said that it will collaborate with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Zamfara State to ensure a crime-free environment.

This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Ashahabu Zoma, who led the management of the Commission on a courtesy visit to the Corps.

The chairman reiterated that the Civil Defence Corps had obtained a higher pedigree in the society and had proven to be an institution with high level of integrity and discipline.

Mr. Zoma stated that the Corps had demonstrated a high level of synergy with the Commission in the past.

He requested for the continuation of such synergy under the leadership of Commandant, A A Sparks.

Responding, Sparks assured the Commission of an optimum collaboration and synergy as the two agencies were out for similar goals and objectives in the State.

The State NSCDC boss admonished the Commission to always ensure a smooth inter-agency relationship for better operations and discharge of their mandates.
