EPL: Man Utd suffer big blow ahead of Brighton opener, Ten Hag to take Ronaldo decision



Manchester United have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their Premier League opener against Brighton this weekend, according to The Athletic.


Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, will be without Anthony Martial who has picked up a hamstring problem,


It might force Ten Hag to field wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo in his first ever competitive match in charge of United.


Ronaldo wants to leave Old Trafford only one year after he made an emotional return to Manchester.


The 37-year-old was among the squad being put through their paces by Ten Hag on Thursday.


Ronaldo may even be handed a start despite his lack of pre-season training.
