Nigeria’s Oluwatobiloba Amusan zoomed into the final of the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2022 Commonwealth Games on Friday.

In her first race since winning a gold medal and setting a new record at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, United States of America, Amusan clocked 12.40s (+2.4) to qualify for the final.

The final of the event will take place on Sunday.

She will be up against Jamaican duo, Danielle Williams, Megan Tapper, England’s Cindy Sembre, Michelle Jenneke of Australia, and Devynne Charlton of Bahamas in the final.

It would be recalled that Amusan won gold medal in the event four years ago in Gold Coast, Australia.
