Biafra: Adeyanju mocks IPOB for being interested in Nigerian politics

Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, has criticized members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, over their sudden interest in election.

Adeyanju recounted how he was insulted after he urged IPOB’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu to become interested in Nigerian politics.

He recalled asking Kanu to ensure he installed all five governors in the Southeast.

In a series of tweets, the Abuja-based lawyer said such a move was the first step towards the actualization of Biafra.

Adeyanju said despite the insults, members of IPOB are now interested in Nigerian politics.

According to Adeyanju: “After Nnamdi Kanu was released from prison, I was the first person to secretly and openly advise him to become interested in politics and ensure he installs all the 5 Governors in the SE as that will be the first major step of actualizing Biafra.

“They insulted me, saying I was an enemy paid by the Govt to destabilize Biafra.

“Today, IPOB folks that we all know on social media are all suddenly interested in elections. They never listen and hate criticism of any kind.”
