Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, has reacted to defender William
Saliba’s own goal during his side’s Premier League 4-2 win over Leicester City.
Arteta also gave his verdict on his side’s Premier League
victory over Leicester City.
The Spaniard watched as Arsenal defeated the Foxes at
Emirates Stadium, thanks to Gabriel Jesus’ two goals and a strike each from
Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli.
James Maddison did score for Leicester, while Saliba scored
an own goal during the encounter.
Speaking after the match, Arteta said at his post-match
press conference: ”Really happy. A good football match from both sides. Overall
delighted because we got the result we wanted.”
Commenting on Saliba, Arteta added, “I’m more happy today
than I was last week with Palace because of how he [Saliba] reacted to the own
goal.”
