Juventus legend, Giorgio Chiellini has urged his former club to sign Chelsea star, Christian Pulisic, to boost their attacking options next season.

Juventus looked to be heading into the new 2022/23 season short on wingers, with Federico Chiesa’s fitness set to be uncertain, having already missed much of the year after rupturing his cruciate ligaments in January.

The Old Lady did, however, announce the one-year deal of Angel di Maria on Friday following the expiry of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

But Chiellini believes Juventus still need to add more depth in the area, recommending a third winger in Pulisic.

“Honestly, it is the first time I heard it, but I think Juventus needs a winger like Pulisic,” Chiellini told ESPN’s Futbol Americas.

“Pulisic is very good, I think when he starts from the side and comes inside, and with the injury of Chiesa, he [will] surely still return, but not before September, and in the first months, surely he can play every game.

“With the [arrival] of Angel Di Maria, Pulisic could be the fantastic third winger for Juventus. He has improved year by year, he had a fantastic season in Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid on Friday confirmed that striker, Luka Jović, has left the club to join ACF Fiorentina.

The statement read, “Real Madrid C. F. and ACF Fiorentina have agreed on a deal for the transfer of Luka Jović.

“Our club would like to express its gratitude for his work and dedication during his time at Real Madrid, where he has won 1 Champions League, 2 LaLiga titles and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

“Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new period of his life.”
