Reno Omokri has asked Nigerians to emulate singer, Davido as
his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
emerged winner of the Osun gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Davido who has been supporting his uncle stormed Osun State
on Friday and organized a campaign for him.
The singer during the election kept vigilant at the polls
and even commended the army for ensuring the security of votes in the state.
Reacting, Omokri via his Twitter asked those with influence
and money to learn from Davido by supporting and uniting their family not
otherwise.
He congratulated the Adeleke family on their victory.
His tweet read: “Learn From Davido. Use your influence and
money to support your family. Build each other up. Don’t tear each other down.
Unite. Don’t divide. Be greater together. Don’t let the hater be the victor.
“Congratulations goes to the entire Adeleke family! Osun
done and dusted!
The INEC’s Returning officer for the Osun polls, Prof
Oluwatoyin Ogundipe declared Ademola winner after he polled 403,371 defeating
his close rival, Adegboyega Oyetola.
