I was never served divorce papers – Actor Blossom Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife

 

Maureen Esisi, the ex-wife of Blossom Chukwujekwu, says she has not received any divorce papers from the Nollywood actor.

 

She spoke about her failed marriage during a question and answer session with her Instagram followers.

 

One of her fans had asked: “When did you do your divorce? Because last time we asked, you said it was not yet done.

 

In her reply, she said: “Last I checked, I signed NO divorce papers.”

 

Another follower asked why she refused to sign the divorce papers if she was served.

 

“Wasn’t served any,” she simply replied.

 

Chukwujekwu recently got married to Winifred Akhuemokhan, his partner. They held their traditional wedding in Benin city, Edo state.

 

The wedding is coming about three years after his split from Maureen.

 

Maureen and Chukwujekwu tied the knot in 2015. After four years of marriage, the pair parted ways in 2019.

 

When asked what was the reason behind their separation on Tuesday, Maureen replied, “deceit”.

 

In April last year, Maureen recounted how she had suicidal thoughts following her separation from the Nollywood actor.

 

She also described the day the pair split as the “worst day of my life”.

 

“Worst day today. Work sucked greatly my heart sank too… Weird thing is by this time last year, exactly same date and the same time, my old man broke to me the news of my marriage being over,” she had said.
