Zamfara State Governor, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Garba Ahmad Bunu as the new Emir of Kotorkwoshi.
According to a press statement signed and made available to journalists by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe.
“The state government is hereby informing the general public that the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved the appointment of Alh. Garba Ahmad Bunu, as the new Emir of Kotorkoshi,” the statement stated.
According to him, the appointment takes effect immediately.
Recall that, the former Emir of Kotorkwoshi, Alhaji Ahmad Umar, died last week Thursday at the age of 94, after spending over 61 years on the throne.
