Laide Bakare, the Nollywood actress, has claimed Similoluwa,
her 13-year-old daughter, gifted her brother a brand new car on his 9th
birthday.
The Yoruba film star took to her Instagram page on Wednesday
to announce the car purchase with a couple of photos and a video.
In the video, Similoluwa’s voice could be heard in the
background asking her mother to get her brother a car using her allowance.
“As you know my brother’s birthday is coming up soon and I
really want to do something special for him because I love him a lot. You know
I’m excited and sad I’m not going to be there so I want to give him a gift that
is special,” Similoluwa said.
“I want to take out of my allowance and buy him an amazing,
perfect and beautiful car because I miss him alot and I can’t wait to see him.”
In another post, Bakare expressed her gratitude to God,
adding that “love lives in my house”.
“From a 13-year-old Simi To her nine year-old brother,
Dammy. I’m blessed indeed,” she wrote.
“Aliamdulilai for everything. Love lives in my house. I don’t hunt for it anymore. Allah be praised always.”
Bakare had recently flaunted two luxury cars, Lexus and
Toyota, she bought for herself in May.
