Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has agreed with his Manchester City counterpart, Pep Guardiola, that the whole country supports liverpool.

 

Tuchel was speaking ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against the Reds at Wembley.

 

When asked specifically about Guardiola’s claim that the nation wanted to see Liverpool succeed, Tuchel said: “I’m not a Liverpool fan. I can understand why he made [that comment]. I can understand why he has that feeling. In general I would say it is hard to really argue with it.

 

“It isn’t about Chelsea, it’s about Man City and Liverpool, right? I did not say I agree 100% but I can see.

 

“I believe I can understand what he meant. There is a huge sympathy for Liverpool in the country. They work hard for it and no offence. I can understand what he means.”
