Uche Jombo, Chioma Akopotha, and Ini Edo were among the
Nollywood stars that travelled to Imo state for the traditional wedding of Rita
Dominic.
The movie star’s traditional wedding to Fidelis Anosike,
publisher of Daily Times Newspaper and founder of Folio Media Group, is set to
hold on April 19.
On Monday, Chioma took to her Instagram page to share a
video of herself and her colleagues dancing with the bride-to-be.
“Jas a liru teaser! It’s about to be a MOVIE! #OwerriShutDown #ReelDeel22,” she wrote.
On her part, Uche Jombo also shared the same video and
wrote: “Tomorrow!!! Singing, we go dey trouble their timelineeeeeee.
#reeldeel22.”
Dominic revealed the identity of her partner in December 2020 after she had kept a
low profile about her relationship.
Her bridal shower, which was held on Sunday, was graced by
the likes of Joke Silva, Edo, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe Etim, and Jombo among
others.
Rita Dominic started performing as a child, appearing in
school plays and children’s television shows in Imo state.
In 1998, she starred in her first movie ‘A Time to Kill’.
Dominic won the City People Awards in 2004 as the Most
Outstanding Actress. The film star has featured in over 100 Nollywood
productions.
