Mum confronts 55-year-old man wooing her 16-year-old daughter in Lagos

A concerned mother has confronted a 55-year-old man whom she caught wooing her 16-year-old daughter in Lagos.

In a voice recording that has gone viral, the man can be heard calling the girl his sweetheart and asking for them to meet at a certain location. Her mother quickly interjected once he was able to secure a time for the meeting with her daughter.

The man quickly apologized when the minor’s mother chided him and he said he was unaware that the girl was 16 years old. The minor’s mother went further to express her announce at him for claiming not to know her daughter wasn’t an adult.

The man explained that his wife was late and he was searching for another. From the conversation, the girl’s mother revealed that he gave the girl a lift to the church, exchanged phone numbers and promised to buy her phone. It was her closeness to her daughter that enabled her to catch him.
