LaLiga: Ancelotti reacts to Benzema’s two penalties missed during Real Madrid’s latest win

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has reacted to striker Karim Benzema’s two penalties miss against Osasuna on Wednesday.

Benzema missed two penalties during the away LaLiga tie against Osasuna at El Sadar.

However, three goals from David Alaba, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez gave Real Madrid all three points against the host.

The win means Real Madrid are now 17 points clear on top of the LaLiga table after 33 games.

Reacting to Benzema’s two penalties miss, Ancelotti said at his post-match press conference: “If we’d been awarded a penalty, he would have taken it too and the one after that.

“The only player who misses a penalty is the one who is brave enough to take one. He produced an amazing performance and did really well for the team.”
