My marriage to Olu Jacobs’ son is over, says Blessing Douglas

 

Blessing Douglas, the Nigerian mental health advocate, says her marriage to Soji, the son of Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva, is over.

 

The mother of one disclosed her current marital status during an interactive session with fans via her Instagram page on Wednesday.

 

During the session — which has now been deleted from her page — a fan had asked “are you still married to your husband?” to which Blessing replied “No. Oya make una rest.”

Another fan then asked if there is any possibility of the pair coming together again.

 

In her response, the entrepreneur said while it is not impossible, she does not want to reunite with Soji again.

 

“What God cannot do does not exist. However, there are some things that we don’t want God to do. You get it? If not, forget about it,” she added.

Blessing further confirmed the split when another fan had asked: “Are you still married? My brother who stays in the UK is madly in love with you.”

 

Responding, she wrote: “No. He will have to register for interview o.”

It remains to be seen what led to the collapse of their three-year-old marriage.

 

The pair tied the knot in July 2018. They welcomed the only child the union produced, Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanemi Abimbola Jacobs, in April 2019.
