Bandits on Tuesday night, killed 23 people while several others sustained gunshot injuries during separate attacks in two villages of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Recall that bandits had attacked nine villages in Giwa Local Government, killing 50 while several others were abducted
The Tuesday night attack is the fourth in Giwa Local Government area, since the month of March 2022.
A resident of the community told newsmen on Wednesday that bandits came in large numbers, shooting sporadically.
As a result, many people who ran for safety were hit by bandits’ gunshots
Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige was not reachable for comments.
