Buhari condemns ‘mindless killings’ in Kaduna

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the terrorist attack on four locations in Kaura Local Government in Kaduna State.

Two military personnel and dozens of civilians were murdered in cold-blood.

The President stated that “mindless act of violence” have no place in a civilized society.

Buhari said cowardly attack on innocent civilians, law enforcement officials and the destruction of properties were extremely painful.

“The nation mourns with the Kagoro community, where the attacks took place and the military which lost their brave compatriots”, he noted.

The Nigerian leader says he is following the efforts of the state government and security agencies to track the attackers and bring them to justice.

His statement by spokesman Garba Shehu warned against reprisals that may lead to further violence.
