Atiku condemns bandits’ attack on Abuja-Kaduna train

Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has reacted to attack on the 6pm Abuja-Kaduna train by bandits.

Recall that bandits, on Monday night, blew up the train rails and attacked the 6pm train heading to Kaduna from Abuja.

Reacting, Atiku, while condemning the incident on his Twitter page, urged the Federal Government to commit to the protection of life and property in Nigeria.

“The attack on Abuja to Kaduna-bound train that reportedly left many injured and some kidnapped is condemnable.

“The government’s commitment to the protection of the life and property of the people must remain sacrosanct.

“My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected. As one people, there is no enemy, foreign or domestic, that we cannot defeat,” he wrote.
