2023: PDP extends date for sales of forms, reschedules screening exercise

 


As aspirants continue to troop into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to purchase the expression of interest and nomination forms to contest various offices in the 2023 general elections, the National Working Committee (NWC) has extended the closing date from Friday, April 1, 2022, to Friday, April 8, 2022.

 

The PDP in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba also disclosed that the last day for the return of the already completed forms as well as the screening exercise for both the State House of Assembly and National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) has been rescheduled.

 

According to the party, the last date for the submission of already completed forms: is the State House of Assembly, Sunday, April 10, 2022, by 6 pm and the National Assembly, Sunday, April 10, 2022, by 6 pm.

 

While screening of aspirants for State of House of Assembly and National Assembly is slated for Tuesday, April 12, 2022, and Thursday, April 14, 2022, respectively.

 

The statement partly read “All other dates remain as already published.

 

“For the avoidance of doubt, the last day for the purchase of all Forms is now fixed for Friday, April 8, 2022”.
