Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other
delegates to Cameroon paid a visit to Super Eagles camp ahead of their clash
with Egypt’s Pharoahs.
Sanwo-Olu announced this on his Facebook page on Tuesday,
adding that the purpose for the visit was to pray for the football players and
talk with them.
Sharing photos of the visit, he said, “We paid our team, the
Super Eagles, a quick visit before their match to pray with them.
“I also gave them a pep talk and best wishes from Lagosians.
I let them know we’re in high spirits just like they are, and looking forward
to a great start at the competition.”

The match is scheduled to hold at the 30,000 –capacity Stade
Roumdé Adjia in the northern Cameroonian town of Garoua and kick-off is 5 pm.
