Late Bimbo Odukoya’s children celebrate her 16 years after death

Pastor Bimbo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church tragically died in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash at the age of 45.

Sixteen years later, her three children, Jimmy, Tobi, and Tolu, remembered her and celebrated her for leaving them with good values.

Sharing an old video of her mum preaching on the altar via her Instagram page, Tobi Odukoya-Enuha celebrated her mum on Friday.

She wrote, “Celebrating my mama today! Her messages are still impactful and relevant so many years later. I smiled watching this. There is truly nothing that can separate us from God’s love. We need to draw closer to Him during difficult times, not away.”

Tolu Ijogun-Odukoya also took to her Instagram page on Friday to share a conversation between her and her two siblings concerning their mother.

She wrote, “A private conversation between my siblings and I celebrating and reminiscing about our mother today and her legacy of love.

“Sixteen years ago today, she transitioned, and we miss her, but I am so glad I have a little of her in my siblings. I am so thankful for Jimmy and Tobi.”

Bimbo’s only son, actor Jimmy Odukoya, also reposted the conversation on his Instagram page on Saturday.

He wrote, ” A private conversation between my sisters and I as we spoke of my mum, the iconic Pastor Bimbo Odukoya on the day we lost her, December 10th. This is the 16th year without her.

“They say a mother’s love is always with her children. That losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know; but her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with you .

“I look at our lives mum and it’s clear that your legacy lives on in us, in Tolu and in Tobi We will continue to make you proud! Love you always #PastorBimbo #Proudson.”

Founder of Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya, after losing Bimbo in 2005, remarried a South African, Nomthi, in 2010.

Sadly, Nomthi died of cancer a month ago, leaving behind two children: Jomiloju and Timilehin Odukoya.
