I will always bring joy to others — Burna Boy

With the year coming to an end, Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has made a new resolution to spread joy for the rest of his life.

The Grammy award winner took to his Instagram stories on Friday to make a promise of being a cause of happiness to people around him, in whatever situation.

In the post, Burna Boy noted that a lot of people were suffering in silence while the people near them were ignorant of their pain.

“That person you’re looking at right now, that stinger you’re sitting next to on the bus or anywhere, even that person you laugh and joke with, they could be going through the worst kind of hell, and you will not know until they’re gone,” he wrote.

The Kilometre singer further stated that although he had caused pain to others at some point, he will dedicate the rest of his life to showing genuine care for others.

In his words, “I know I have caused people pain in my past, but I swear on everything, for my remaining days in this world, I will always mean it from the bottom of my heart when I ask ‘how are you doing?’ And I will always be the cause of joy to others, no matter what.”
