Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Thursday felicitated with Lt. Gen. TY Danjuma, rtd on his 84th birthday.
The governor’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur.
The Governor noted the sterling leadership qualities of Gen. Danjuma as a soldier and statesman, saying he is proud that the former Chief of Army Staff has continued to make his knowledge and wealth of experience in leadership available to the younger generation to tap from.
The Governor prayed for God’s sustained blessings upon Gen Danjuma and wished him God’s grace, good health, wisdom and courage in the years ahead to enable him continue to serve the country.
